RubberStampMadness (RSM) is the original stamping magazine, started in 1979. Issues come out four times a year and each one showcases stamp art and stamping techniques. Creative ideas with a good measure of fun fill all 84 pages.
A Tips & Techniques column provides ideas on how to use stamps and stamp products. The Spotlight column highlights new stamp designs and new supplies. Profiles on stamp artists can be both informative and inspirational.
A calendar of stamp shows is included in each issue, as well as a Bulletin Board section where people can find Pen Pals, Stamp Art Exchanges, and list birthdays to receive cards from as-yet-unknown stamping friends.
The art appearing in RSM is sent in by stampers living in all parts of the world. A Best New Stamper is named in each issue. This person receives a $50 gift certificate. The cover artist receives $200 for her/his artwork.
RSM's website at www.rsmadness.com provides galleries of stamp art, how tos, lists of stamp stores and stamp companies, as well as information on how to submit artwork for publication.
